Mai-Otome (Japanese: 舞-乙HiME ) is an anime and manga series produced by Sunrise as part of the Mai-HiME Project.

The original anime aired in Japan between October 2005 and March 2006, with the manga released between November 2005 and August 2006.

The series reprised many characters from Mai-HiME with various alterations, and focuses on two characters whose role in Mai-HiME was slight: Arika Yumemiya and Nina Wáng; as well as Mashiro Blan de Windbloom, a significantly different analogue of Mai-HiME's school principal Mashiro Kazahana. The sequel Mai-Otome Zwei is a continuation of the storyline based some time after, whilst Mai-Otome 0~S.ifr~ is a prequel, dealing with events occuring before the lifetimes of Mai-Otome's heroines.

In common with Mai-HiME, the manga storyline for Mai-Otome has significant plot differences from the anime.
